Refund Policy

KhataPro is free, with ads
KhataPro is offered free of charge. We monetise the app through Google
AdMob (banner, interstitial, rewarded video, and native ads). There are
no subscriptions, no in-app purchases, and no premium tier in v1, so
there is generally nothing to refund.
This policy is published for completeness and to cover any future paid
offering.
Payments collected through KhataPro
KhataPro is a software service for keeping your shop's khata. We are
not a party to the underlying transaction between you and your customer.
The UPI QR feature inside the app is a tool for **your customers to pay
you directly via their own UPI app** — KhataPro itself never holds
or processes the money. Refunds for payments your customers make to
you are your responsibility, and must be issued by you to your
customer.
If you were charged in error
If a future paid feature is introduced and you believe you were charged
in error, or if Google Play has billed you for something you did not
intend, contact rudratech97@gmail.com with:
- The phone number / email registered on your KhataPro account.
- The Google Play order number (begins with
GPA.) where applicable. - A short description of the reason.
We respond within 4 business hours and will close the loop within
7 days. Where the charge originated on Google Play, we may direct
you to Google Play's standard refund flow (within 48 hours of purchase
Google issues the refund automatically; beyond 48 hours it is at
Google's discretion, and we will assist with goodwill where reasonable).
Grievance redressal
If your refund request is not resolved within the SLA above, escalate to
the Grievance Officer:
